{Mason Baptism Day}

Mason was baptized Saturday, January, 3rd ,2009!!!!! It was a great day shared with family. Mason was so excited to get baptized, and to enjoy the day with everyone. We are so proud of him and his decision to get baptized. We love him so much!!!!! Thank you to everyone who helped to make this day special for him.

'Twas The Season

I can believe it is the end of January and I am still blogging about Christmas. I am trying to quickly catch up on some of the fun things our family did during month of December. I do love this time of year--especially the chance to spend so much time with family and friends.
And really it doesn't even begin to capture all the fun we've had and memories we've made this holiday season.

We were so blessed to have my mom come in on Christmas night. We were so excited to see her!

Then of course, we had the traditional Nativity.

Visiting Santa!!!!

We barely squeezed in seeing Santa this year. We attempted a few times when we thought the line was short but come to find out Santa has a new beeper system and the wait was a whopping 6 hr. (are you kidding me!) We did however find a day that the wait was only 3 hrs. I wish I would have brought my video camera, Dallas was so excited to see him. He had the biggest grin on his face and with his hands clasped tight together he asked Santa for a Big truck. And then just kept smiling at him why Taylor and Mason put in their requests. He was so cute!!!

{Nutcracker}

Grandma Anderson took all the little Granddaughters that were big enough to see the Nutcracker this year. Taylor was so excited to get dressed up and to see all the ballerinas. About 10 min. into the show she lend over to grandma and asked if it was almost over... O' man poor Julia . When Taylor got home I asked Taylor how she liked it . Her responds was “it was a little borin “. Maybe she wasn't quite big enough this year. Thank you Julia for taking her and dealing with the attention span of a 4yr old.

Mason's Eight!!!!

Mason is my Christmas baby being born 5 day before Christmas. He has truly been a gift to Regan and I. He was such a good baby and always had a smile on his face.

8 reasons why

1.He is full of fun and energy and when people are around him they just want to smile.

2.He has the greatest eyes...

3.He is smart. If he puts his mind to it he can figure out anything he wants.

4.He has such a big heart and is sensitive to the spirit. He is such a great example to his friends and family.

5.He's a great example to his siblings. Such a solid big brother.

6.He still brightens up whenever I visit his classroom or spend time with he and his friends.

7.I love our talks before bed. He always wants just a few minuets to talk before he goes to bed.

8.He quietly chooses the right when it's in question. He knows what to do and he does it, despite any peer pressure.

I am so proud to be his mom. Happy Birthday Buddy!!!!!!!

For Mason birthday party we took Mason and his cousin bowling and they had a sleepover.

Craziness!!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a day of pure craziness. And the excitement of Christmas in the air. I felt like I woke up running and didn't stop until bed time. I had fruit platters to prepare, classroom party's to attend and costumes to make. My day went a little something like this.

7:00 Getting Mason ready for school and packing up teacher gifts ,Regan's coworker gifts and sending them out the door.

7:30 Feed Taylor and Dallas Breakfast

8:15 Get Me,Taylor and Dallas ready

8:50 Take Taylor to Preschool

9:15 Run to the store to get food for the kids class party's

10:00 Prepare all the food

11:00 Run to Taylor's Preschool Party

12:00 Hurry to Mason School to eat lunch with him

12:30 Set up Mason's classroom for their winter party

1:00 Clean up me and Dallas after he fell off the chair and split his lip open ( blood mixed with saliva makes quite a big mess!)

1:15 Help 25 children make snowmen while managing a demanding 2yr old.

2:00 Deliver a present to the teacher from all her students

2:30 Run home and take a deep breath and put Dallas down for his nap that should have been at 12:30.

2:50 Mason and his friends come home from school.

3:00 Try and manage hyper sugar fed kids.

3:30 Putting together a Santa costume for mason's acting class

4:30 Drop Mason off to rehearsal

5:00 Play starts ( forgot to charge the video camera Ahhhh!)

5:45 After play party

6:15 Make dinner

7:00 Bath

7:45 Put all kids to bed

8:00 Craw in to bed and watch TV!!!! ( Gotta love days like this...)

A lot of blog catch-up!!!!

O' boy , do I have a lot of caching up to do! It has been a fun filled month and I am not sure were the time has gone. Here are some of our traditions we do during the holidays.

We love helping Grandpa and Grandma Anderson decorate their tree.

This Angle is one that Regan made when he was in Preschool. It has continued to top the Anderson tree every year.

Every year we decorate gingerbread houses for FHE. We love doing this and especially all the frosting and candy eating that goes on.

Mason was super proud of him self for decorating such an awesome train.
