{Bears Den}

Last week end, I packed a picnic lunch and took the kids up to this place called Bears Den. They love going hike and climbing on the rocks there. Here are some pictures that we took.

Yummmm!!

Regan’s parents have this great farm and for the last couple of year’s we have gone and pick raspberries to make jam. My kids just love to help pick wash, smash, and eat the berries. It is becoming a summer time must!

Treasured Moments

I was lucky enough to have my mom and Kenny come out and visit us. It's not all that often that my mom comes out to visit, so when she does we have to soak up every minute. Why they were here we got to do a lot of fun things. We took them to Harper's Ferry a historic community where the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers meet .We went to D.C. of course to see some of the monuments. And the best part was going to Ocean City to be total beach bums and soak up the sun ! We had a great time with them, and hope they will come and see us again soon.

Playing in the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers. Of course Taylor had to dive right in to find shells.

We took them to see Washington DC and some of the Monuments. And it is always our tradition whenever we take someone to DC we always have lunch at the Hard Rock cafe.

Changing of the Guard at the Arlington cemetery (Very cool!)

The best part was going to the beach and soaking up all the sun. We had a great time just relaxing and being beach bums!!

The kids loved to bury each other in the sand, and building castles. Dallas thought it was the greatest thing ever. His favorite thing was to get as close as he could to the water and then run back as fast as he could before it got him. He really enjoyed his first trip to the beach!

Looking for sea creatures
Love this kid! He always keeps us laughing.

Total stud!!!

Taylor wanted to take our picture and I have to say, not to bad... Maybe we have a future photographer on our hands.
It was so great having my mom visit. And know matter how old you get you always need your mom.
Thanks for everything mom!!!!
