Christmas Eve

I love Christmas Eve. I love to see kids catch the joy of giving. Every year the cousins draw names and give gifts to each other. It is so fun to see how excited they get to give the gift they picked out for each other. Then of course, we had the traditional Nativity. It is so fun to have so much family around us.

Happy Birthday Mason Man!!!!!

My little Man went ahead and turned 9 yrs. old on me.

Mason is such a good sport about his birthday. It is right smack in the middle of all the hoopla of Christmas. We try hard to make his day special. This year we celebrated his birthday at the Cracker barrel with all the December birthday of the family. Mason could not have been more pleased to spend his birthday surrounded by his family and his cousins.

Here are nine things we love about Mason:
1. He still loves to snuggle.
2. He is friendly and outgoing.
3. He has become an avid outdoors man since he received his bb gun.
4. He loves to be with is cousins.
5. He has a great sense of humor.
6. Is developing a love for music.
7. Loves learning about History.
8. Loves playing with his siblings.
9. Loves getting up early.

Decorating the Tree!

Finding our Tree

Every year we go and cut down our Christmas tree, and this year was no exceptions. Regan’s mom included all of us in her work party to the tree farm. We had such a great time eating soup and drinking lots of hot chocolate. It’s not very often that we get snow here in VA before Christmas, but oh how we loved every minute of it. The kids were in heaven having snow ball fights and running through the trees. We made some great memories!
