The gingerbread house

I love traditional gingerbread house make!

So do these guys.

Taylor was especially serious about the task this year...she was all about the patterns and careful candy placement.

Easter Morning

I am so thankful for Easter and the opportunity it gives to reflect on Christ and the resurrection. I hope amongst all the candy and fun my kids were able to catch the spirit. I'm so thankful for such a gorgeous time of year to remember new life and the amazing blessings we have in our knowledge and love for our Savior.

We had such a great morning! We were lucky enough to have Regan’s mom stay with us for Easter this year, and our kids were over the moon about it! Taylor was thrilled about sharing her bed with grandma. I am not sure if she felt the same way, but it sure made Taylor’s day! This year the Easter Bunny left a string at the end of each child’s bed leading them on a serious scavenger hunt around the house to find their Easter baskets. The kids loved it! We also end up coloring are egg’s that morning as well. Then they decided to roll them down our hill, well it was more like throwing them down the hill. (I am sad that I didn't get any pictures of it.) All in all we had a great morning and made some good memories.

I can't believe these are the only pictures I got of the string maze through our house.

Counting the goods

After our morning fun and breakfast, we took a little hike up to Bears den.
